The Crowsnest Pass is bursting with things to see and do for visitors who want to experience the region’s history.  There are seven principal heritage sites and facilities within the Crowsnest Pass.

Each site provides visitors with information and insights into important aspects of Crowsnest heritage. Together they provide a comprehensive picture of the region’s extensive and varied past.

Events

Come help the Municipality of Crowsnest Pass proudly celebrate its history during a number of annual community heritage events.

The overall events are free although some specific venues may have admission fees. In addition, all of the major heritage attractions are open.

The Crowsnest Heritage Initiative is a community group interested in preserving and promoting heritage in the Crowsnest Pass, Alberta. Its principal goal is to enhance cultural and heritage tourism opportunities in the Crowsnest Pass in order to preserve important heritage resources, increase community involvement and awareness, and increase tourism traffic and business revenue.
